Freddy DeAngelis Awarded NSF Graduate Fellowship

2014 – Graduate student Freddy DeAngelis of the ASE group was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) graduate fellowship. Since 1952, NSF has provided fellowships to individuals selected early in their graduate careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant achievements in science and engineering. Three years of support is provided by the program for graduate study in science or engineering and leads to a research-based master’s or doctoral degree. The purpose of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to help ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States.
